Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Contact Lens Operations Supervisor to join our Eye Care team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.  Position Summary: Provides direct patient care while supervising the daily operations of the contact lens department. Ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved through the implementation of established procedures, systems, and effective oversight of support personnel. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with Park Nicollet standards. Offers timely and courteous support to patients and internal teams, ensuring a high-quality service experience. Oversee the daily point-of-sale operations within the Contact Lens department, aligning staffing levels with workflow processes and operational service targets. Actively participates as a member of the organizational Contact Lens Team, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at meeting and exceeding service goals. Work Schedule: Fulltime 1.0 FTE.  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:  National Contact Lens Examiners Certification plus two or more years-related experience or high school graduates with five or more years-related experience required.  Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: National Contact Lens Examiners Certification (ABO-NCLE) by the American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners within two years of hire.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Strong clinical, human relations, and motivational skills.  Proven leadership and effective training skills.  Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Slit Lamp, Lensometer, Corneal Measurement, and Contact Lens Cleaning Equipment; Visual Acuity Equipment; Telephone, POS system.  Ability to utilize a PC to send and receive e-mail and attachments.  Familiar with Microsoft & its applications.
