QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of 5 years in a leadership/managerial position with direct reports.
· Must be self-driven, take accountability over training for the role and be a self-starter.
· Leadership skills, team-oriented thinking and demonstrated ability to receive constructive feedback, adapt skill set accordingly.
· Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills.
· Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced work environment.
· Solid organization skills include attention to detail, ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
· Must be an effective communicator with both oral and written communication, with effective routines around weekly communication to a large audience. This position must be able to build relationships across all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical people, team members, managers, doctors, and third-party support.
· Must be able to manage risk and escalate project issues to a quick resolution.
· Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and Outlook Calendar needed.
· Must have a thorough understanding of how to interpret both team members and technical needs while translating those needs into actionable items that can be delivered upon.
· The primary schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, but must be able to work a flexible work schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

· The position reports directly to the Contact Lens Manager and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the candidate will work closely with all Doctors, Management Team, and hourly team members. This position will specifically collaborate with all Optometrist and Ophthalmologist to deliver compassionate care.
· This position will be a primary leader in adhering to the WVEC Mission Statement, Vision, and Values.
· This position serves as the organizational champion for WVEC’s contact lens department and overall compassionate care, driving the entire practice towards delivering consistent compassionate care every day to every patient.
· This position should be an active leader in driving profitable sales, increasing patient/customer count, Contact Lens team development and entire training process, and managing all operations for the Contact Lens Team.
· This position will be responsible for sitting in on interviewing, hiring, and training of all contact lens team members and should regularly update the training program through quarterly reviews, along with any changes that would affect training.
· This position spends time interacting with the patients at WVEC, seeking feedback during office visits and sharing observations and feedback with the team.
· This position sets daily routines for all contact lens employees, ensuring the following are completed thoroughly and consistently:
· Has a clear understanding of reporting from Office Mate including but is not limited to:
· Develop a diverse team, promote a positive health care environment, and create an environment of direct reports that are results driven around compassionate care. This leader should spend one-on-one time with the Contact Lens team members to enhance performance, answer questions and recognize top performers.
· Review each location schedule daily to ensure that workflow is functioning at full capacity, all correct steps.
are taken in ensuring patients are treated with compassionate care and inventory is addressed with a sense of urgency.
· This position serves as the leader in managing all contact lens supplies and getting that information over to the Contact Lens Manager.
· Effectively coordinate project tasks and communicate to a wide variety of audiences including team members, managers, doctors, CEO, and third-party support.
· Participate in Weekly Touch-base meetings with the Contact Lens Manager and Chief Executive Officer.
· Responsible for keeping all Contact Lens Policies, Procedures and Forms updated with any changes emailed to the Contact Lens Manager to be uploaded to the Intranet and or the BOX.
· Maintains privacy and confidentiality of information and adheres to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
