The role involves handling freight bookings, liaising with shipping lines, coordinating documentation, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of containers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, industry knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to support efficient logistics operations.

• Freight Booking & Coordination
• Manage and execute container bookings with shipping lines, co-loaders, and carriers.
• Coordinate space allocations, vessel schedules, and container availability.
• Track shipments from origin to destination and resolve any issues or delays.
• Provide timely updates to the internal stakeholders regarding shipment status
• Operational Efficiency
• Monitor freight costs and optimize routing and carrier selection.
• Maintain accurate data in freight management systems and update internal records.
• Identify and suggest improvements in freight desk procedures to enhance service and cost-efficiency.
