Job Purpose An exciting opportunity for a Container Surveyor Supervisor to join our growing team! This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the container inspection and estimation team within the depot. This role ensures that all incoming and outgoing empty containers are accurately inspected, condition-assessed, and reported according to international standards and specific shipping line requirements. Key Accountabilities * Supervise daily container inspections for all units entering or leaving the depot * Verify survey reports for accuracy before submission to customers or internal repair teams. * Assign and monitor workload among surveyors to maintain efficient gate-in flow * Inspect or recheck complex or disputed units personally when required. * Train surveyors up to the required business standard * Provide information to Container Park team on MNR and surveyor technical responses  * Liaise with Surveyors on all shipping line requests (upgrade demands and customer processes) and ensure all requests are being met * Provide leadership, direction and coaching for all direct reports   Qualifications, Skills and Experience The successful candidate will possess the following: * IICL certified (preferred) * DPI certified * Minimum 5 years container surveying experience * Experience using Modal * Extensive team leadership experience with demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural development and process improvement * Understanding of M&R Tariffs * Knowledge of CEDEX codes and MERC+   Supporting equality DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
