Job Title: Content and Digital Strategist A little bit about our team: At Warner Music Australia, our Domestic Strategy team is the engine room for our local roster's growth and career longevity. We are a passionate group of specialists who live at the intersection of A&R, creative, and commercial, all working together to bring an artist's vision to life. This role is vital to our mission, positioning artists for breakthrough moments by using content as the primary tool for discovery and engagement. You’ll be working closely with our discovery, creative, and PR teams to ensure our artists are the most compelling voices in the digital landscape Your role: As our Content and Digital Strategist, you are the architect of how our artists live, breathe, and break out online. You’ll lead the development of bespoke Artist-Generated Content (AGC) plans and oversee nimble digital marketing campaigns that turn casual listeners into a dedicated fanbase. It’s a hands-on role that requires you to be deep in the trenches of local culture, interpreting trends uniquely for each artist brand to drive massive engagement. Whether you’re brainstorming a viral moment with an artist or analyzing ROI to pivot a strategy, you’ll be the bridge between creative intuition and data-driven success. Here you’ll get to: You will design and implement comprehensive content strategies that align AGC with each domestic artist’s unique creative identity. You will build and execute nimble digital marketing campaigns to increase exposure and hit ambitious growth targets for our priority roster. You will cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with artists and managers, integrating into their creative circles to advocate for winning strategies. You will lead the AGC creation process, concepting original ideas and partnering with videographers and editors to bring them to life. You will analyze campaign performance and ROI, reporting on best-in-class strategies and the latest cultural opportunities to the wider business. You will collaborate with the internal Discovery team to support fan-centric UGC plans and optimize artist channel engagement. You will partner with our Creative Producer to integrate social-first content elements into traditional music video shoots and photo days. About you: You have at least 2+ years of experience in music marketing, creative project management, or digital/social campaign management. You have a deep understanding of current social media trends, short-form video, and the Australian music landscape. You will be a strategic and creative thinker, known for your ability to build positive working relationships across diverse, fast-moving teams. You enjoy the challenge of content concepting and editing, with a sharp eye for what performs well on social and DSP platforms. You are passionate about music and have the drive to see local artists achieve global recognition We’d love it if you also had: Direct existing relationships with Australian artists and their management teams.
