We’re looking for a Content and Social Media Intern to support how She Matters shows up online! This role brings together content creation, social media support, and day to day communications tasks across the organisation, including our programmes, partnerships, events, and the She Matters Impact Shop. You’ll help us turn ideas, updates, and simple video clips into clear, engaging content that feels true to who we are. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating clean visuals, understands social media basics, and wants to build real experience in a mission driven environment. Your Day to Day: Content, Social Media, and Communications Create and edit short vertical videos in CapCut Design simple, clean visuals in Canva Prepare and schedule posts for Instagram and LinkedIn Write clear, human captions based on guidance and brand tone Suggest small tweaks that help posts perform better Follow basic best practices for timing, hooks, and formats Support our monthly content planning and keep things organised Track engagement and highlight what’s resonating Manage media folders so everything stays easy to find Help with light community management and other comms tasks What You Bring (and What You’ll Grow Into) Must be enrolled in a university or applied sciences programme and able to receive internship credit Strong English writing skills and preferably fluent Dutch Interest in social media, digital storytelling, and purpose driven work Basic experience with CapCut, Canva, or similar tools Understanding of how LinkedIn and Instagram algorithms behave in practice Strong writing skills and an eye for clean, simple design Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently Curious, proactive, and open to learning and trying new things You don’t need to meet every qualification to apply!
