Description
We are looking for a Content Business Analyst who can drive project-level insights and interventions to improve content consumption, retention, and overall watch-time metrics. This role will work closely with content, product, and growth teams to translate data into actionable recommendations and measurable impact. Key Responsibilities 1. Project-level Insights & Interventions Own and drive high-impact analytical projects such as Watch Hours Improvement initiatives. Analyze the impact of content topics, formats, and duration on watch hours and user engagement. Design interventions based on insights and track post-implementation impact. 2. Retention & Consumption Analytics Study the impact of negative feedback on retention and user consumption metrics. Identify early warning signals for drop-offs and propose corrective actions. 3. Metrics Monitoring & Dashboards Build and maintain dashboards to track: Current performance issues Ongoing experiments Future “moonshot” initiatives Ensure stakeholders have clear, actionable visibility into content performance. 4. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Perform deep RCA for drops in key metrics (Watch Hours, SR, Retention). Formulate probable reasons and data-backed hypotheses for metric fluctuations. 5. Content Quality & Language Analysis Analyze Success Rate (SR) drops across languages and identify language-specific drivers. Compare SR differences for the same show across different languages. Evaluate the impact of content duration on retention, SR, and consumption. Contribute to defining and validating new content quality metrics. 3–6 years of experience in business analytics, content analytics, or product analytics. Strong deep analytics experience with the ability to move from data to decisions. Hands-on expertise in SQL, dashboards (Looker/Tableau/Power BI or similar), and spreadsheet modeling. Proven experience in RCA, hypothesis building, and experimentation analysis. Strong understanding of content consumption, retention, and engagement metrics. Curious about life at Seekho?
