Content Coordinator/Translator Shanghai, CN, on-site, full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM The Certified Collectibles Group – International Shanghai Ltd. (CCG Shanghai) is seeking an experienced Content Coordinator/Translator to assist and facilitate the organization’s marketing efforts throughout Asia, along with translating marketing content including but not limited to articles, press releases, flyers and emails, from English to Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The Content Coordinator/Translator will be responsible for daily communication and coordination with the marketing department of the company’s USA-based headquarters, review and translation of articles, flyers and other marketing collateral, marketing support for trade shows and other events, and placement of advertisements in trade publications and on trade websites. WHAT YOU WILL DO AS CONTENT COORDINATOR/TRANSLATOR * Assist in the development and implementation of marketing deliverable materials and initiatives that support the company’s overall objectives, including but not limited to website articles, social media posts, email blasts, print ads, product labels, brochures, submission forms, digital advertising, press releases and trade show collateral * Translate content and copy provided by the United States marketing team to Simplified and Traditional Chinese * Write and edit content and copy for multiple brands across different platforms ensuring consistency of message, brand standards and effectiveness among all forms of communication * Be a primary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the department or checking the status of jobs already in progress * Liaise with third-party vendors and strategic partners * Coordinate all communication regarding deliverable materials, deadlines and any special information as it relates to marketing materials and programs * Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with internal customers and printers as well as inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt * Research competitive products and services * May attend promotional events as needed WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English/Translation or a related field with 1-3 years of experience as a professional translator * High level of proficiency in written Simplified Chinese and English; fluency in Traditional Chinese would be a plus * Ability to effectively and frequently communicate with the company’s English-speaking marketing team in the United States * Strong multi-tasking capability, eagerness to learn and willingness to work under pressure to meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail * Being responsible, organized and open-minded * The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced professional environment * Having knowledge of collectibles such as trading cards and coins preferred CCG Shanghai offers competitive compensation along with career advancement opportunities and a full-time benefits package.
