About Ornata

Ornata is building the remote operations platform for agriculture.

We help farms operate machinery without a human in the cab, using the equipment they already own. Our service combines retrofit autonomy hardware, remote operators, AI, and operational systems to unlock the benefits of autonomy for every farm.

We are working with some of Australia's leading broadacre farming businesses and are now building the operational foundations required to scale safely, reliably, and repeatably.

About the role

We are looking for a Content Creator & Brand Associate to make videos and content that tell the stories of the farmers using Ornata.

Ornata is doing something new: a remote operations platform where our team works directly with farmers to enable the benefits of autonomy. The best proof of what we do comes from growers themselves, and your job is to capture it — on video first, plus photography, social, and written stories. You'll get out to farms, film and edit real farmer stories, and turn them into content that builds Ornata's brand and reaches growers across the sector.

This is a hands-on creative role, not a strategy one. You'll spend your time making things: filming, editing, shooting, and running our social channels. You don't need a long CV. You need to be a good creator who can tell a story, with the drive to learn the rest.

What you'll do

• Create, Film and edit videos of farmers using Ornata. This is the heart of the role.
• Get out to farms to capture footage, photography, and stories on site.
• Build case studies with farmers: put them at ease and draw out a story that lands with other growers.
• Run Ornata's social media channels: plan, post, and grow the following.
• Produce a steady, varied stream of content across video, photo, social, and writing.
• Keep everything honest and on-brand, in the plain voice we use everywhere.

What success looks like

In the first few months, you'll be out on farms filming, with your first farmer stories published and getting noticed.

Over the first year, success is a growing library of video and content that builds Ornata's brand and a following that keeps growing — proof, in growers' own words, of what Ornata does.

Requirements

This is a startup role and a hands-on creative one. We care about what you can make, not years on a CV. If you're an early-career creator who is talented and hungry, apply — don't rule yourself out because you haven't done it all before.

You'll likely be a good fit if you:

• Can shoot and edit video, or have made enough to show you'll get there fast.
• Are good with people, and can put a farmer at ease and draw out a real story.
• Can tell a story that lands with an audience, and know honest from hype.
• Know your way around social media and how to grow a following.
• Can turn your hand to photography, writing, and posting as well as video.
• Are self-directed and ship things without waiting to be asked.
• Have a genuine interest in agriculture, people, and telling their stories.

Useful experience

None of this is required — bring what you have, and be ready to learn the rest:

• A showreel, portfolio, or a YouTube / TikTok / Instagram feed you've made and can show us.
• Shooting and editing video, with any kit from a phone to a full rig.
• Photography, social media, or writing.
• Any content, media, or communications work, whether paid, study, or personal projects.
• An interest in or connection to agriculture or rural communities.
