Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Micromine’s Training Team is seeking a Content Creator to help expand and enhance our training offerings across our suite of mining software products. In this role, you will be responsible for producing creative, engaging, and instructional video content that supports users in learning new and existing features. Working closely with technical specialists, you’ll translate complex product developments into clear, effective training materials.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Specialist knowledge and experience in digital and multimedia content development, technical communications, and training design.
  • Proven success in the development, production, and evaluation of technical digital collateral, including high-level, integrated training content for highly customisable underground hard rock scheduling software.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively.
  • Experience conducting learner experience (LXD) research and testing to ensure learning designs meet both learner and organisational goals.
  • Comfortable using PowerShell and Visual Studio Code to run and edit automation scripts or custom training content.
  • Experience with C#, Python, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript scripting, and prompt engineering for content creation and process automation (e.g. visual asset generation, subject research, communication refinement, and language translation).
  • Familiarity with ElevenLabs Text to Speech generator, and at least 1 year of experience using Camtasia, Snagit, and Adobe Learning Manager (ALM).
