Splendid Communications is looking for a dynamic Social Content Creator to join our growing design studio. This is a hands-on creative studio role for someone who lives and breathes social media, with a passion for creating, filming, editing, and shaping social-first content that resonates. You’ll be part of a small, agile team working across some of the UK’s most exciting consumer brands in food, drink, and lifestyle. You’ll collaborate closely and act as an extension of our social and digital team, contributing to new business pitches, developing native social creative concepts, and producing both static, short-form and longer-form branded content for always on activity and campaigns. Key Responsibilities Creative Concepting Contribute to ideation sessions for new business and client campaigns. Help shape social-first creative ideas that align with brand strategy and audience behaviours. Stay ahead of social trends, formats, and cultural moments to inform content direction. Content Creation & Production Capture and edit engaging video and visual content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Develop content for organic and paid social campaigns, ensuring it’s platform-native and thumb-stopping. Support shoots and activations with creative input and execution. Collaboration & Integration Work closely with the design team, social strategists, and account leads to ensure content is aligned with campaign goals. Participate in brainstorms, planning sessions, and pitch development. Be a proactive voice in shaping how Splendid shows up creatively across social. What We’re Looking For Experience in a content creation role, ideally agency-side, or freelance. Strong filming and editing skills, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar. A portfolio that demonstrates creative flair, storytelling ability, and platform-native execution. A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams. A passion for social media and a keen eye for trends, formats, and audience engagement. Bonus: Experience in art direction, photography, or motion graphics.
