The Petropolitan is hiring a Content Creator! Every pet we care for has a story that deserves to be told!

The Petropolitan is Calgary’s most luxurious pet hotel, dog daycare and grooming salon and spa. As the first to bring upscale, urban and luxury accommodations to the Calgary market and we love sharing the stories of our people and the guests in our care with the world! We’re here to pamper pets and wow their people… and we need help sharing that magic with the world.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It!
You’ll be our Chief Storyteller, turning puppy snuggles, zoomies, and cat naps into scroll-stopping, heart-melting social media content. One day you might be filming a slow-mo of a dog catching bubbles, the next you’re capturing a chic before-and-after grooming glow-up. We come to work loving what we do and can have so much fun with limitless content ideas and pawsibilities!

THE PERFECT PACK MEMBER

• Are you a Social Media junkie, filling your friends’ inboxes with hilarious, cute or inspiring reels and posts? That’s a great first step!
• Has 1–2 years of social media content creation or marketing experience with a portfolio of work.
• Is looking for 25-40 hours of work per week, we’re open to both part and full-time applicants, we’re truly looking for the best candidate for the brand.
• Has proficiency working with smart phones, digital cameras, recording equipment and editing tools (Adobe, Canva, Cap Cut, etc.)
• Thrives in lively, fast-paced, pet-filled environments.
• Is self-motivated, organized, and bursting with positive vibes.
• Has a lifelong passion for pets and creativity; a high hands-on, slobber and dog hair tolerance is absolutely required. We have a BLAST at work and we need someone who embodies that energy in their day-to-day presences that can be felt in their work.

• Dream Big – Pitch creative campaigns, seasonal promotions, and viral-worthy trends (with a fun, bougie, furry twist).
• Snap & Film – Capture the best moments of our guests, operations, clients and community. Organize and share content from our team members. Plan, coordinate, capture, produce and post content across all Social Media Platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat).
• Create & Caption – Write playful, funny, on-brand captions that make pet lovers near and far smile, laugh, and melt over the cuteness!
• Design & Edit – Use tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite to make your content pop.
• Engage & Grow – Reply to comments/messages, track engagement, and help our community flourish. We’re seeking to entertain, showcase and educate our clients and the pet owning community with our content.
