We deliver trusted government information that is accessible and easy for users to find and understand, improving users digital experience with government. We do this by providing best practice digital products and guidance, and by working with government agencies and industry to raise the quality and standards of government’s digital delivery. We need someone with skills in taking complex government information and crafting it so it is clear and concise and meets user needs. You’ll work with a passionate team of content designers, UX designers and researchers, product owners and developers to maintain and develop high quality content for our portfolio of products. To be successful in this role you will have experience in: understanding complex language and turning it into plain English creating content for the web with a strong focus on user needs working with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content using feedback, user research and user needs to guide your work editing content using content management systems (CMS), preferably Silverstripe, and knowledge of HTML working in an Agile framework. You'll also have: understanding of human-centred design principles knowledge of New Zealand Government Web Standards excellent stakeholder management skills the ability to receive feedback with open mindedness a strong team-focus creativity, empathy, passion and problem-solving skills.
