The Content Designer for Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS creates and maintains Husqvarna’s content for the Construction business in North America. Further, this role assists with developing, designing and sharing marketing content based on brand message and audience personas. This position is critical for supporting our business in the USA & Canada in collaboration with the North American marketing organization in both digital and traditional marketing.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CMS tools (MS Dynamics, Aprimo and/or SiteCore a plus)
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (social media channel insights, Google Analytics, social listening tools, and other third-party tools)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Strong writing, grammar, formatting and editing skills
  • Experience with photography/videography a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BA or BS degree with focus on marketing, English or related field
  • Content creation and curation experience a plus

Responsibilities

Marketing Communications & Design (80%)

  • Write, edit, and format content for accuracy, clarity and resonance across target audience personas
  • Own the execution of social media content: develop, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
  • Design email campaigns and bi-yearly customer newsletters.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of content calendar
  • Support website and customer portal content production and maintenance
  • Work with raw content from identified subject matter experts and develop into usable content
  • Audit owned digital channels for accuracy, inconsistencies, broken links and outdated content
  • Monitor social media DMs, inquiries, tags, etc.
  • Conduct research, social listening and other tactics to define content gaps

Administrative (20%)

  • Analyze and report on content performance in collaboration with digital marketing analyst and communicate results and recommendations
  • Responsible for submitting quarterly content gap report
  • Maintain content calendar in Wrike project mgmt. system
  • Maintain print and PR activities yearly database
