Description
Define and develop AI system instructions that guide LLM experiences and ensure quality AI output. Define and drive the vision for product language and content for a set of experiences and products. Create clear guidelines to document your strategy, and establish best practices and principles to ensure cohesive, user-centered narratives. Lead projects by identifying opportunities, setting priorities, and managing partners to ensure successful outcomes. Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements against core user journeys. Lead workshops with cross-functional partners and present work to leadership. Help develop UX concepts or early-stage experiences. Weave user insights, engineering constraints, business needs, and platform constraints into your content design. Understand and effectively use our content model, content types, style guide, and brand voice. Provide data-informed insights to improve existing experiences. Proactively communicate priorities and trade-offs—and adjust as you get feedback. Represent the content design discipline with composure, curiosity, humility, and a growth mindset. Understand the broader context of your work and always map your activities to both customer needs and business goals. Evangelize brand, voice, style, and UX standards among partner teams to raise content and product quality. Be comfortable with ambiguity, know your strengths, and have a point of view. Provide leadership and mentorship to other Content Designers. Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Humanities, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience working in product or service design, copywriting, technical writing, writing (e.g. for marketing, advertising, e-commerce), brand design, or brand marketing OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of combined experience in product design, content strategy, brand/digital marketing, e-commerce, editorial—whether in-house, agency, consulting. Experience creating AI-specific frameworks (conversational AI responses to user inputs and prompts). Experience or training in Design Thinking methodology. Experience in customer research. Experience creating products for large enterprises preferred. Experience with prompt engineering/creation preferred. Solid partner management skills. Solid design portfolio of both personal and team-based work that demonstrates the ability to handle complex and novel user experiences with creativity and excellent execution.
