About the Role We are seeking a Content Developer who will have a focus on Primary law content to join a specialist content team at LexisNexis. You’ll play a key role in the development and expansion of Primary Law content, supporting the commercial performance of a strategically important legal portfolio. Working end-to-end across content initiatives, you’ll help identify opportunities, build business cases, and project manage delivery from concept through to launch. The role involves close collaboration with editorial, marketing, sales and other internal teams, as well as engagement with external authors and partners. This is a commercially focused role that suits someone who enjoys balancing content quality, stakeholder engagement and commercial outcomes, and who is keen to build depth in legal or professional publishing. About the Team You’ll join a specialist legal content team, and be responsible for developing new Primary Law related content and managing key relationships across the Pacific. The team works closely with Editorial Operations, Marketing, Sales and Product, and is highly collaborative, with a strong focus on content expansion, continuous improvement and customer value. You’ll be supported by experienced content leaders, while also being encouraged to contribute ideas, build relationships, and develop your commercial and project management capability in a supportive, professional environment. Reporting to the Commercial Content Manager, this is a permanent full-time role-based in either Australia (Sydney or Melbourne preferred) or New Zealand (Auckland or Wellington) with combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance. Responsibilities Develop and manage legal content initiatives from concept through to delivery Build business cases assessing opportunity, risk and return on investment Manage projects across multiple stakeholders including editorial, marketing and sales Engage with authors and external partners, including supporting licensing discussions Contribute to content expansion and ongoing commercial viability of the portfolio Requirements Experience in content development, publishing, or a related professional environment Strong commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate and prioritise opportunities Well-developed project management and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities Legal industry or content development exposure is preferred but not essential Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
