Job Description Content Editor Join our Baker Hughes Team! The Content Editor will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading marketing content across multiple platforms, including blogs, social media, emails, website copy, brochures, presentations, and product collateral. This role ensures clarity, tone, readability, and engagement while maintaining brand consistency. The Content Editor will collaborate closely with the Performance & Content Marketing Specialist to optimize messaging across platforms and deliver high-quality content that supports global marketing initiatives. Partner with the best As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for: Write, edit, and proofread marketing content for blogs, social media, emails, website copy, brochures, presentations, and product collateral. Ensure content aligns with brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines. Optimize content for readability, engagement, and digital best practices, including SEO. Collaborate with the Performance & Content Marketing Specialist to support campaign objectives. Maintain consistency and accuracy across all written materials. Review and refine content to ensure clarity and grammatical correctness. Manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Stay updated on content trends and best practices to enhance quality and effectiveness. QC Content in assets created by the Marketing Studio Team. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in writing and editing; B2B/industrial marketing experience preferred. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices for readability and engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for content formatting and presentation. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with global teams. Fluency in written and spoken English for effective global communication.
