JOB OVERVIEW

The Aberdeen Insider newspaper is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for classified ads, obituaries, and legal notices. This role requires strong attention to detail, some math, strict adherence to deadlines and a proficient use of online tools.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain details.
  • Excellent editing skills with a keen eye for detail in copywriting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Process classified ads from online platform, walk-in customers, and phone orders.
  • Process all legal notices for print and online from various city/county offices and prepare affidavits, add all to online ad platform.
