Full Time Opportunity
We are on the lookout for an experienced Content Manager to join the Communications team! Reporting into the Head of Communications, Content & Research, the Content Manager will be responsible for creating and owning the Greenstone content plan designed to support lead generation, conversion, and Search Engine Optimisation initiatives. This role will also be responsible for the creation and curation of digital content and has one direct report – an Internal Copywriter. Utilising both internal and external content creators, you will develop the overarching content strategy across the portfolio of brands across Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
You will have a real passion for content and a true understanding of the importance of meeting the needs of a diverse range of audiences. You have a hunger for continuous learning, embracing and incorporating new skills as you acquire them. Your previous experience in producing strategy-aligned content will be key to success in this role. You will have a sound knowledge of content planning, creation and distribution through online and offline channels with specific experience curating content for SEO and websites using content management systems such as Kontent.ai.

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary level qualifications (e.g. bachelor degree or higher) in a relevant digital marketing or communications discipline
  • Extensive digital content management experience (typically a minimum of 5 years) combined with a broad range of experience in digital marketing in service-based companies
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyse and present performance and effectiveness of content, and brief copywriters/external agencies
  • Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Experience and understanding of digital marketing channels and tools such as SEM Rush, Ahrefs and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Proven highly developed people management skills combined with the ability to build and manage high performing teams
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with data analytics, insights development and reporting
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Creative, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach

Desirable

  • Experience in the management of a multi-brand and multi-product digital marketing strategy
  • Experience with using content management system - Kontent.ai
  • Knowledge of financial services products and services
