SKILLS

  • Is a highly capable writer, able to generate a variety of materials in a range of ‘voices’
  • Is proficient in at least one of the programs in the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva etc.)
  • Has a passion for social-first video content and a full understanding of the best specs, lengths and practices
  • Has a thorough understanding of the channels content is being produced for and the importance of producing bespoke / adapted content for each
  • Has their finger on the pulse with all things social, and can identify opportunities for their clients to get involved in trends, new platforms, content techniques, etc.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the production process, capable of managing production outputs alongside producers and without the help of producers when required
  • Takes on board feedback well, showing empathy at all times
  • Has strong organisational and communication skills, capable of multi-tasking various projects
  • Has a strong understanding of business requirements and challenges faced by clients
  • Excellent account management skills, ensuring each client feels like they are number one
  • Detail oriented, ensuring quality control of all internal and external work
  • Capable of delegating tasks to content executives and junior creatives, and providing relevant feedback to make ideas better
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Content Manager is a hybrid creative / strategist / producer, who works closely with clients to build their brand identity and social media presence through the development of always on and campaign based social-first content.
Please note, only candidates with rights to work and live in Australia will be considered for the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write, plan, create and manage approvals for social media and digital content
  • Manage production teams consisting of shooters, editors, animators and designers to get content made
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Stay on top of digital and social media trends and proactively identify new opportunities for clients
  • Analyse and interpret reports to identify insights and new opportunities for clients
  • Run WIPs with clients
  • Work with the broader creative team to assist with creative presentations and brainstorms
