THE FOCUS OF THE ROLE:

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our picture team, and manage the visual needs of a vibrant portfolio of leading Celebrity, Entertainment, and Lifestyle titles.
As well as a team leader, you’ll be a collaborator, motivating and mentoring the picture team and working across different titles and disciplines, ensuring consistency, creativity and cohesion. You will bring contacts, charisma and clarity - able to brief, commission and deliver under pressure with calm precision.
As well as working on daily picture research for all brands, you and your team will support photographic production on Grazia, to deliver arresting cover shoots, and meet commercial briefs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and motivate the a team of picture researchers, fostering a high-performance, supportive culture
• Attend editorial conference and support daily content with image ideas
• Lead picture research across multiple titles, to tight deadlines
• Ensure image rights, licenses and credits are managed with diligence and accuracy
• Oversee picture budget, reallocating spend strategically around issue needs, and finding budget efficiencies where possible
• Maintain and grow a networks of photographers, studios, stylists, agents and image libraries
• Support photographic shoots for Grazia, and our Life and Style Content team
