REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to relationship building
  • Social media expertise
  • Strong photography and videography skills, including editing (portfolio required)
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry software (e.g. Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to see projects through from idea to successful execution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of experience in advertising, content creation or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital advertising, graphic design, marketing or related fields
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Podcasting and videography expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate to build and execute digital media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit and publish consistent content that builds meaningful connections with target audiences.
  • Create and deploy SEO and reputation management strategies.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos to be used across various digital channels.
  • Draft, proofread and/or revise written materials, maintaining established branding standards.
  • Assist in identifying, planning and documenting participation in internal and community events; coordinate gathering images, videos and quotes from others.
  • Represent the Clinic as directed to the external market.
  • Coordinate programs and activities related to Salem Clinic Medical Foundation, as directed by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and events; including spirit weeks, giveaways, fundraisers, competitions and awareness campaigns.
  • Act as a communication liaison to internal and external parties as needed.
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events; including community health fairs.
  • Coordinate corporate sponsorships, donations and gifting opportunities.
