Job Title: Content Marketing Apprentice
Location : Middlesbrough College Main Campus, TS2 1AD
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: Senior Marketing Officer
Salary: £14,565.31 for first 12 months then National Minimum wage for age
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Fixed Term for 24 months

Middlesbrough College Group is looking for a Content Marketing Apprentice to join its dynamic marketing team. You will undertake your Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship whilst learning skills and gaining experience on the job.

As a Content Marketing Apprentice you will develop the skills to:

  • Complete your Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship.
  • Undertake creative copywriting for a range of marketing materials including website, course guides, newsletters, e-marketing, adverts, testimonials, leaflets, digital, social media and other publications as required.
  • Work with the Senior Marketing officer to produce email campaigns on our e-marketing system for a variety of audiences including current students, staff and applicants.
  • Support the Senior Digital Marketing Officer in writing and creating daily posts, photos and video content on the college social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) working to the social media content calendar.
  • Work with the Senior Marketing Officer to develop new ideas and innovative content for the college social media accounts, website, newsletters and digital advertising to increase engagement and followers.
  • Write and upload testimonials and good news stories to social media accounts, newsletters and the website.
  • Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Officer to set up paid social media campaigns
