THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you ready to make a real impact in the hair & beauty industry? We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Content Marketing Manager to join our global team. This person will be responsible for driving the strategy behind delivering impactful, multi-channel content—from top-of-funnel storytelling to bottom-of-funnel conversion assets—ensuring every touchpoint is fueled by creativity, consistency, and purpose. This is a highly collaborative role, with stakeholders across our Marketing, Product and Sales teams and is central to shaping and executing a strategy that positions Phorest as the number one software of choice for premium salon, spa and clinic businesses globally. You will lead a talented team of content creators from video editors to copywriters, empowering them to deliver meaningful and impactful content that helps us achieve our brand and revenue goals. You will recruit and manage a pool of freelancers to effectively manage scaling demand at our busiest times, while maintaining the highest brand standards. Build strategically, execute with measurable business impact.

Prioritisation and Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all requests. Work with each team (Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Internal Teams) to understand their priorities and set expectations for delivery.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all content aligns with business objectives, brand guidelines, and the company’s overall marketing and sales strategy. This includes working closely with regional marketing, product marketing, and sales teams.
SEO Strategy and Optimization: Provide guidance on SEO best practices, ensuring that all web content (brochure, case studies, blog posts, etc.) is optimised for search engines to maximize visibility.
Analytics and Feedback: Track performance of content and campaigns and adjust strategy accordingly. Provide insights on which types of content and channels drive the best results.
Quality Control and Consistency: Ensure that content is cohesive across different departments and aligns with the brand voice. This includes working closely with the creative team and copywriters to maintain quality across all assets.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between the design team and all other departments. Help translate marketing needs into content requirements, ensuring that the design and copywriting team has a clear understanding of the deliverables.
Content Calendar Management: Help create and manage an overarching content calendar that aligns with product launches, sales campaigns, events, and regional requirements. Ensure that the team’s work is structured and planned in advance, minimizing chaos from last-minute requests.
Thought Leadership & Creative Guidance: Monitor competitor marketing activity and leverage the insights to make Phorest stand out from the crowd. Immerse yourself in the salon and beauty industry, identifying trends relevant to our market and ensure every asset is relevant, timely and interesting to our ideal customer. Obsess over trends in search, content optimisation and AI and adapt your strategy as necessary
