Job Description Join our team as a Content Marketing Manager, reporting to the VP of Marketing to support the marketing team’s efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness through strategic content creation, market research, and analysis. You will create compelling, innovative content to expand Parcel Pending’s reach, engage target audiences, and maintain our brand’s integrity across all platforms. This individual will be responsible for the following: Content Strategy Development: Crafting data-driven content plans aligned with business goals and target audience needs. This includes audience research, keyword research, and identifying content gaps and opportunities. Content Creation and Curation: Managing the production of various content formats like blog posts, articles, website copy, videos, infographics, ebooks, and more, either by creating content directly or managing a team of writers, designers, and other content creators depending on the project. Content Optimization: Ensuring content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and social media platforms to maximize visibility and engagement. This includes keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and staying up-to-date with SEO trends. Content Management and Distribution: Utilizing content management systems (Wordpress) to publish and manage content, and effectively distribute it across various channels like websites, social media, email marketing campaigns, etc. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like website traffic, engagement rates, conversions, and lead generation to measure the success of content efforts and inform future strategies. Brand Voice and Consistency: Ensuring all content maintains a consistent brand voice, style, and messaging across all platforms and formats. Collaboration: Working closely with other marketing teams (e.g., SEO, social media, email marketing) and cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product development) to ensure content aligns with overall business goals. ​ Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into the content workflow to improve efficiency, personalization, and performance. Research and stay current on AI tools and applications for content creation, optimization, and distribution. ​ Refine and edit AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, brand voice, and consistency. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred 5+ years in a content marketing role. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Solid understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques. Proficiency with content management systems and analytics tools. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with teams. Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Creativity and a passion for content creation. Ability to use AI to generate innovative content ideas, solve content-related challenges, and maintain brand voice while leveraging new technology.
