Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to lead the development of research-driven insights that engage our target audience of compensation and HR professionals. Using our proprietary data and software, this role will surface commercially relevant themes that intersect with the news cycle and cultural zeitgeist-shaping the perspectives we take to market through written content, webinars, industry events, and other formats. The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller and researcher: someone who can transform complex data and industry trends into compelling, timely narratives that drive brand authority and measurable full-funnel impact.

  • This position is located out of our Headquarters office located in Waltham, MA.
  • Base Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000 annually plus a 10% bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the creation of research-based insights by analyzing Salary.com data and software outputs to identify themes that are timely, commercially relevant, and aligned to industry and cultural conversations.
  • Partner with marketing leaders to develop editorial pillars and shape a content calendar that reflects both strategic priorities and real-world market dynamics.
  • Create and oversee high-quality content across written, webinar, and other modalities-balancing creative storytelling with data-backed rigor.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and industry thinkers to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Collaborate with the web and demand gen teams to optimize content for SEO, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner cross-functionally to create persona-driven, verticalized, and segment-specific content that resonates across our customer base.
