ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll report to the Content Marketing Manager and work closely with the Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams. You’ll be responsible for both creating and optimising content across our website. Content will be featured across multiple platforms, primarily on the Commusoft blog, but also on social media, for downloadable resources, and more. You’ll work collaboratively, sharing strategic insights from competitor and keyword research, to create compelling content that ranks, drives engagement, and converts leads.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You’ll be creating long and short form content for our UK & US audiences. You’ll be required to adapt and understand the similarities and differences between each region’s ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), target their unique pain points, appeal to their wants and needs, all whilst ensuring the content aligns with Commusoft’s brand guidelines and messaging.
We believe our content should be genuine and people-led, but we recognise the need to adapt and use AI tools, like Gemini and Jasper, to supplement and support content creation. AI is a tool, not a crutch.
Additionally, you’ll be supporting short-form content creation for demand generation campaigns (ad copy, landing pages, visuals) and blog optimization to improve SEO and LLM ranking performance.
You’ll also help create content for Commusoft’s social media channels—we post to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, and X—ensuring that content engages our ICP and adds value through actionable tips, best practices, client testimonials, and product-related insights. Content will differ from channel to channel and serve different purposes, such as to inform, persuade, and entertain.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions (including views, clicks, reach, shares, followers, and leads).
