REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing.
  • 1+ year of experience in affiliate marketing.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging content (portfolio required).
  • Strong ideation and brainstorming skills with a deep understanding of creating content that resonates with different audiences.
  • A keen trendspotter with a passion for current trends, pop culture, and digital strategies.
  • Impeccable writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and accurate content.
  • Excellent editing skills, ensuring clarity and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Proven ability to stay on the pulse of breaking news and trending topics, particularly in the entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of SEO, especially on-page tactics.
  • Good understanding of content KPIs and web traffic metrics
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • B.A. in Journalism, Marketing, Communication, or a relevant field.
  • Comfortable with writing and planning content across a variety of topics.
  • Experienced in using Google Analytics 4 and other content performance tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in using CMS tools, especially WordPress, for content publishing.
  • Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee content production for a team of freelance writers, ensuring timely and quality articles are produced.
  • Work closely with the Editorial Director to plan and execute content calendars for several publisher sites.
  • Write 4-5 articles per week, focusing on trending topics and evergreen content.
  • Execute content strategies aimed at improving organic traffic and affiliate revenue.
  • Monitor content performance using Google Analytics 4 and other analytical tools.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and/or affiliate marketing and adheres to the latest on-page SEO practices.
  • Stay abreast of breaking news and trending topics in the entertainment industry and beyond.
  • Handle content planning across diverse topics, from pop culture to finance.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to determine which articles to publish and repurpose on social media.
  • Network with industry reps and PR teams for exclusive content.
  • Regular reporting of content performance and key learnings.
