Location: Fully Remote (South Africa) Company: Remote Recruitment Engagement: Full-Time Compensation: R10,000 – R16,000/month Training: Included About the Role We are looking for an entry-level Content Moderation Specialist to help UK-based clients maintain safe, high-quality digital platforms. This fully remote role requires no prior experience — all the training and tools you need will be provided from your very first day. Key Responsibilities Review user-generated content across social media, forums, and online platforms for compliance with community guidelines Identify and action inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content in a timely manner Escalate complex cases to senior moderators or client teams when required Maintain detailed logs of moderation decisions and outcomes Provide feedback on content trends and potential improvements to moderation processes Requirements No prior content moderation experience required — full training provided Strong attention to detail and consistent decision-making ability Good written English communication skills Ability to handle sensitive content in a professional and measured manner Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Equipment & Setup Reliable laptop or desktop computer Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps) Quiet, dedicated home workspace Backup power solution (UPS or inverter recommended) What's on Offer Competitive salary of R10,000 – R16,000/month Fully remote — work from anywhere in South Africa Comprehensive training and onboarding included Exposure to international digital platforms and UK clients A supportive team environment with clear career progression
