We seek a highly motivated Content Operations Specialist to optimize and transform our localization workflows, with a focus on machine learning. This hands-on, strategic role requires deep operational understanding of localization workflows, with a focus on language dubbing, subtitling, and access services and a passion for enhancing the global customer experience. You will analyze processes, challenge norms, and pioneer new solutions leveraging technologies like Machine Learning (ML) to create new and more efficient ways of localizing content. Collaborate extensively with globalization, media operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and innovation.

DESCRIPTION

Drive automation and scaling of global dubbing operations by implementing state-of-the-art models for voice conversion, speech synthesis, and emotion transfer. Refine our localization workflow thru emerging technologies, such as ML. A key part of your role is to critically analyze our workflows, using data to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement. You’ll constantly explore and integrate emerging technologies while evaluating operational models (e.g., insourcing vs. vendor) to boost quality and scalability. Success requires close partnership with our Globalization, Engineering, and vendor teams to troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and maintain clear documentation of our evolving processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in media localization with a strong focus on operational workflows in the area of language dubbing, including casting, recording, mixing.
• Proven ability to analyze existing operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative workflow solutions.
• Experience exploring, evaluating, or applying ML tools or concepts to optimize media workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, project management, operations) to implement solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience exploring, applying, or evaluating ML dubbing tools to optimize workflows and generative voices for dubbing
• Extensive experience optimizing complex content workflows, particularly those involving localization and media accessibility processes
• Experience working for a media localization or content services vendor
• Demonstrated passion for and proactive engagement with emerging technologies, and their potential applications in media operations
• Understanding of post-production audio workflows
• Familiarity with asset management systems or workflow automation tools
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills
