Hire Digital is seeking a Content Writer (Freelance, Remote) to support Employer Branding and Talent Marketing initiatives for an international audience, with a strong focus on Japanese-language content. This role is ideal for a writer who excels at localisation, storytelling, and employer brand messaging, with the ability to support light design adjustments when needed. Responsibilities Write, localise, and adapt Japanese and English content for employer branding and talent marketing initiatives. Create and localise content across multiple channels, including: Blogs and career site content Internal mailers and communications LINE (Japan’s primary engagement channel) Ensure messaging aligns with global employer brand guidelines while resonating with local Japanese audiences. Adapt content based on stakeholder feedback and regional requirements. Maintain consistency with existing APAC careers and LinkedIn content styles. Apply minor visual edits and formatting updates using tools such as: Canva or Adobe. Prepare content assets for digital distribution (no heavy design or creative ownership required). Requirements Proven experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter, ideally within employer branding, talent marketing, or corporate communications. Fluent Japanese and English (written and verbal) — mandatory. Strong localisation skills with sensitivity to tone, culture, and audience. Working knowledge of digital content channels (blogs, email, social, messaging platforms). Comfortable making light design adjustments to support written content. Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
