You are a detail-oriented Content Writer (M/F/D) who will produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content tailored to US expats. You will be responsible for creating blog posts, articles, guides, and other written materials that help expats better understand their tax obligations, benefits, and how to navigate the complexities of filing from abroad. This work will be featured on MyExpatTaxes.com as well as any partner sites that we work with such as Forbes.

Content Creation: Writing clear, concise, and informative articles, blog posts, and guides on a variety of tax-related topics for US expats (e.g., Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, Foreign Tax Credit, tax filing requirements, tax-saving strategies).

• Working with the Marketing Team leads to adhere to the writing calendar and adjusting as needed.
• Research: Stay up-to-date on the latest expat tax laws, regulations, and trends. Conduct thorough research to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and timely.
• SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices to ensure content ranks well on search engines and attracts the right audience with SemRush and similar tools.
• Analytic tracking of organic traffic on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our marketing and tax expert teams to ensure content aligns with MyExpatTaxes’ voice, goals, and overall strategy.
• Content Strategy: Contribute to content planning, brainstorming sessions, and help develop new topics and formats to engage our growing audience.
• Edit and Proofread: Review your own work to ensure high-quality, error-free writing.
• Writing copy for the software including transactional emails to improve the User Experience
