The Continuous Improvement Intern (Onsite at our St Thomas, ON office)

Reporting to the Supervisor, Continuous Improvement, you will join a dynamic team that will help mold your financial acumen.

• Evaluate PLC and control systems for accuracy and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze data outputs from control systems and drive data-based decision making.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes through investigations of issues; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
• Facilitate waste reduction and efficiency improvements using QCO, EP, Standard Work and PPS techniques.
• Supports operations through facilitation of Continual Improvement projects, sustaining, improving, and streamlining overall processes within the organization.
• Oversee the upkeep of Industry 4.0 systems, standards, and documents.
• Utilizes root cause analysis system that focuses on team problem solving to resolve issues identified in design or manufacturing and supports the execution of corrective actions.
• Support department management in the identification of key success drivers and execution of improvement objectives.
