JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification as a CCA or a current nursing student ( midway through the program)
  • Work Authorization: PR, citizen or open work permit
  • Ability to commute to work( vehicle)
  • Previous experience as a CCA
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
    Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Support residents in mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
  • Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
