The continuing education compliance specialist will ensure t hat our operations and processes comply with the legal and regulatory standards, procedures, and policies of the governing bodies across Canada. The duties of the role will include managing the effective implementation, maintenance, and administration of accredited content and tracking attendance/completions, handling complaints, and liaising with governing bodies and internal business partners.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to build relationships with internal and external contacts to ensure regulatory, corporate, and fiduciary obligations are met through strong analytical thinking skills, time management and a high level of organization. The continuing education compliance specialist acts as the subject matter expert in each governing body’s licensing requirements and their submission tools and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Strong oral and writing communication, critical thinking, relationship management, and project management skills
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to meet and work within tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize high volumes of work under stressful and changing circumstances
• Ability to meet and work within timely deadlines
• Experience dealing with large quantities of data
• Efficient and accurate data entry
• Developed relationship management skills and interpersonal skills which model corporate core values; a positive, can-do attitude in all situations
• Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
