Description
Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. The COB Lead Analyst develops and manages security and or COB solutions for a line of business. Identifies and utilizes a global risk management model by analyzing emerging security and or COB threats and potential impacts to the business. Defines solutions to mitigate business exposure by leveraging expert analytical and technical skills. Advises and provides direction to senior business and IT leaders on risk management decisions. Subject matter expert in one or more security and or COB technology and policy disciplines. Resolves the highest impact, highest profile problems projects with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards. Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IS COB & Controls. Possesses a strong understanding of core business functions. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives. Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IS COB & Controls. Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties. 10+ years of experience with Third Party oversight, risk and/or relationship management. Ability to manage projects, expectations and maintain key relationships. Familiarity with the emerging regulatory environment as it relates to Third Party risk management. Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).
