JOB SUMMARY: Bennington is the market leading pontoon boat manufacturer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries, a Fortune 500 company.  We pride ourselves on delivering a boating experience that’s second to none through our emphasis on innovation, design, product quality, and relentless focus on customer satisfaction.    The Continuous Improvement Associate assists in supporting initiatives improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost within the workplace and business. This position will provide support by documenting best practice standard work, visual work instructions, point lessons, and production pictures.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : ·         Drive a safety-first culture. ·         Lead process documentation to train and empower team members. ·         Actively involve team members to establish best practice, set a standard, and support the process with documentation. ·         Support model launch in DV and PV builds to capture new content and communicate requirements. ·         Highly collaborative with cross-functional team members. ·         Identifying possible areas for improvement in process and/or waste elimination. ·         Provide regular updates and engagement with plant leadership teams. ·         Other duties and responsibilities as required   Qualifications SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE ·         High school diploma or equivalent required ·         Self-starter and ability to work independently ·         Goal-oriented ·         High-level of visual awareness ·         Accepts ownership ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ·         Succeeds in a fast-paced work environment ·         Strong organizational skills ·         Ability to analyze and interpret technical information ·         Able to work in a fast-paced, large production environment. ·         Ability to stand for long periods of time alongside production staff, to gain an understanding of the process and/or troubleshooting mechanical problems. ·         Must be able to work in a high noise-volume work area ·         Temperature controlled work environment in the winter season (not regulated in the summer season) ·         Willing to Learn Visual Instruction and CAD.
