Description
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology and structured problem solving tools (A3, DMAIC, 8D, RCCA) to eliminate waste and strengthen process capability. Lead & coach operational improvement events - Kaizen, Gemba, rapid improvement events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard work deployment, Material flow optimization and 5S+ activities with multi-functional teams from concept to implementation. Support OpEx strategy deployment aligned to High 5 metrics. Support annual profit planning activities, capacity walk inputs and waste-out project pipelines. Identification & Execution of CI project delivering measurable cost savings, best practice sharing, productivity gains and efficiency improvements across value streams or transactional processes. Train, coach and influence cross functional teams in Lean tools and CI behaviors Initiate, develop, and lead capital improvement projects including manufacturing equipment, facility enhancements and new product start-ups. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Two (2) years of experience combined in either manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, operations management Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering 3+ years' experience combined in either manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, operations management Experience in high mix/Low volume, ETO/CTO manufacturing environment Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Experience with SAP, MRP systems and data visualization software Ability to think strategically and see big picture in dynamic business environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment; to communicate articulately and professionally across many organizational levels and functions
