New Hampshire Ball Bearing’s Astro Division is located in Laconia, NH—heart of the scenic Lakes Region.  Astro is a World-Class 450+ person, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other precision metal parts for the aerospace industry.    Responsible for providing shop floor Engineering support coverage for daily trouble shooting of all types of manufacturing problems such as manual and CNC milling, turning, grinding and presswork as well as MRB activity.  Duties include initiating and working on projects to improve quality, productivity and reduce costs.  Experience with CNC programming, tool design, computers, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma helpful.  BSME, ASME or equivalent preferred, with 5 years experience in a metal working manufacturing environment.     We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
