Your responsibilities: The Continuous Improvement Lead holds a pivotal role in driving business operational excellence with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Agile methodologies. General This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to drive business operational excellence, improve efficiency, reducing cost and maximize productivity. This position involves leading and managing cross-functional initiatives, identifying & executing process improvements initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy Development: · Develop and implement business operational excellence strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with leadership team to establish a roadmap for improving operational processes, enhancing productivity, and achieving excellence in performance. Change Management: · Lead change management efforts associated with business operational excellence initiatives including lean manufacturing. Effectively communicate the need for change, engage stakeholders at all levels, and drive adoption of new processes and practices. Overcome resistance to change and ensure smooth implementation of improvement initiatives. Continuous Improvement: · Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement frameworks. Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, efficiency gains and cost reduction. Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: · Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor operational performance. Establish data-driven dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Cross-functional Collaboration: · Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance to align industrial operations with overall business General objectives. Coordinate efforts to ensure seamless integration of processes and effective resource utilization. Best Practices and Benchmarking: · Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Identify opportunities to leverage advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, data analytics, and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Development: · Develop and deliver training programs on business operational excellence methodologies, tools, and techniques. Provide coaching and mentorship to employees at all levels to build a culture of continuous improvement. Foster a learning environment that encourages employees to contribute ideas and participate in improvement initiatives. Performance Reporting and Communication: · Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, achievements, and challenges related to business operational excellence initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Develop effective communication channels to ensure visibility and transparency of operational performance. Budgeting and Cost Control: · Develop and manage budgets for industrial operations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Identify cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiency measures to achieve financial targets. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / bachelor’s degree in engineering/Industrial or equivalent. Preferred with specialization in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering 5 years relevant working experience Lean Manufacturing Demonstrated experience in driving performance improvement initiatives, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and utilizing data analytics tools.
