Make Your Mark at Prysmian! About the Opportunity We are seeking a Lean Leader (also known in Prysmian as a Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) Leader) for our Du Quoin, IL location. The Continuous Improvement Leader will drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing Kaizen methodologies and the Prysmian Performance System (PPS). This role will focus on fostering a workplace culture that empowers employees at all levels to streamline and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The Continuous Improvement Leader will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and sustain operational excellence Position Description & Responsibilities Acts as a business partner to the site Director and key member of the site leadership team, providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to drive Prysmian Performance System (PPS) and Kaizen culture at the side. Steer with and ensure buy-in from Operations leadership team to develop annual Kaizen transformation roadmap tailored to site needs and aligned to regional Hoshin goals to drive improvements in key metrics such as safety, quality delivery, cost, employee engagement and growth. Serves as a change agent, embedding Kaizen and Lean Principles across all levels of the site and ensuring initiatives are aligned with site goals and sustained. Embraces servant leadership and respect for people to build collaboration and improve sustainability of process improvements. Execute initiatives from division KPO and provides feedback on progress. Leads and drives Kaizen workshops/events ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved and ensuring measurable results linked with flow improvement and waste elimination for high volume/high revenue manufacturing product groups using Lean principles. Leads, delivers training, and mentorship programs on Kaizen, Lean Principles and PPS – from operators to site leadership - to build Lean practitioners and a culture of continuous improvement. Incorporates and maintains strict compliance to PPS and developed standards via visual and daily management. Ensures accountability for Kaizen Newspaper Action Items driving follow-through and measurable results. Manages and maintains Kaizen resources, training materials, and standard templates to support ongoing improvement efforts. Champion the identification, planning, and execution of hoshin process to improve site SQDC via Kaizen Planner. Required Competencies, Education, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with leadership in Kaizen, Continuous Improvement. Proficient in Gemba Kaizen, Value Stream Analysis, Visual & Daily Management, Hoshin Kanri, SMED, TPM, Standard Work Development, and 3P Layout. Strong ability to facilitate Kaizen Events on these methods and tools and helping to identify future Lean minded personnel. Proficiency leading cost reduction and process flow improvement initiatives. Proficiency with Kaizen tools, such as 3P, TAKT Time, Standard Work Combination Sheets, Standard WIP and Kaizen Newspaper. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide leadership and strategic direction as part of the site leadership team. Preferred Qualifications: Lean Master on TPS or Danaher Business System Certification. Project management experience with a proven track record of meeting timelines or proactively adjusting to achieve planned goals. Agile certification such as SCALE. Change management such as PROSCI certification. Strong analytical background - SPC, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, and Correlation Analysis.
