About the Job. At Veneer Tech, you will work along-side a passionate leadership team who are committed to the future and are focused on the long-term success of our company, our employees, our business partners, our community, and our environment. We have an opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Leader to join our Newport, NC team. You will teach Lean methods to our associates and coach them toward implementation using your best mentoring skills. Support Lean theory as a critical part of the company culture. Champion continuous improvement across the workforce. Promote and ensure lean practices throughout the company. Participate directly and indirectly in all kaizen events. Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation. Organize, plan, and deliver team training based on lean concepts throughout the whole organization. Analyze and assess operational current condition to design and implement lean processes and systems to improve areas of the business. Manage improvement and continuity of existing safety program. Requirements Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of experience working in a Lean Manufacturing facility. Must be initiative-taking, creative and a hands-on change agent. Systems thinker and passionate for lean principles. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or above. Proven leadership experience and ability to teach others.
