We’re looking for passionate people who embrace our values: We Dare to challenge the status quo, innovate, and learn fast We Care for the environment, our customers, and each other We Deliver by taking accountability for our decisions and actions About the Role Due to an internal promotion, we have a rare opportunity for a Southern Region Continuous Improvement Manager to oversee and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our Sunshine, Derrimut and Wynyard sites. This is a high-impact role for a curious and driven Continuous Improvement professional who thrives on identifying performance gaps and leading teams through change. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate safety across our Southern Region sites. Reporting to the Southern Region Manufacturing Manager, you’ll work closely with site leaders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to embed CI foundations and deliver measurable improvements in OEE, yield, and productivity. Champion a culture of safety excellence and Zero Harm across all sites Lead and support the delivery of key CI initiatives across the Southern Region Analyze and optimise operational methods, plant layout, and materials handling Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and productivity Facilitate 5S, Kaizen, Gemba walks, and Lean activities Mentor and train site teams in CI tools and methodologies Manage minor engineering and process improvement projects to high technical standards About You You’re a natural problem solver with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. You’re confident working with diverse stakeholders and can influence change across all levels of the business to take them on the change journey. 3–5 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement Manager role (preferred) or a seasoned Process Engineer looking to make the next step CI. Experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments (Plastics, Steel, FMCG, Heavy Manufacturing. Engineering background (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical, preferred). Experience driving change with LEAN certification (mandatory); 5S, Six Sigma, Gemba (desirable). Proven ability to drive efficiency and optimise OEE. Strong communication, presentation, project management and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, resilient, and results-focused mindset. A strong safety-first approach to everything you do.
