We’re looking for a dynamic and analytical individual to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Officer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in identifying and implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity across our services. Working within the Programmes & Project Management (PPM) team, you’ll collaborate with service areas and stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The role will be directly be supporting our Adult Social Care teams in the delivery of our transformation programme ‘Fulfilled Lives’
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Main responsibilities and skills include the ability to analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and seek opportunities for improvements to service delivery. This includes collecting and interpreting performance data and, where necessary, collaborating with the Data & Analytics Centre of Expertise to support more complex analytical needs. The postholder is expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the service by recommending and implementing change initiatives. This includes supporting the evolution of continuous improvement strategies that enhance productivity.
The role requires a strong foundation in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Systems Thinking, along with demonstrable experience in applying these within the public sector or a comparable environment.
