JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is central to the company’s growth strategy for the next 5 years and will focus on ensuring that we have the right processes and systems in place to support our planned expansion.
The purpose of this role is to transform the business by designing, developing, and implementing an innovative and world-class operational excellence set of processes and capabilities underpinned by innovative industry 4.0 technologies. This project aims to position the business as a leader of operational excellence to increase efficiencies, reduce costs, boost productivity, strengthen business sustainability and maximise growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing an integrated end-to-end Operational Excellence Intelligence System and processes on time and budget.
  • Improving workflow efficiency, implementing digitalisation, and developing best-in-class data analytics.
  • Preparation of all associated documentation
  • Training staff so that the new system is fully transferred and embedded in the company’s operations.
  • Working closely with the academic partner and will travel to the academic institute as required.
    The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University (UU) as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.
