Job Summary The Continuous Improvement Supervisor will report to the Operational Excellence group, specifically the Amazon pillar. Responsible for the Continuous Improvement (CI) scope of work (process oversight and improvement, coaching, training, reporting), the position aims to promote the success of CI implemented projects and initiatives at the facility at which the Supervisor would be based at. Responsibilities Train, facilitate and support the CI Champions and Operations in deploying and sustaining the WFS Value System, development of Strategic Projects for the facility, and drive supporting CI transformation plan to deliver strategic business goals. Work with CI Champions and operations leaders to effectively measure and document the impact of process improvements on business results. Actively identify barriers to CI success and develop strategies to overcome and gain alignment. Coach teams in the CI process and in identifying problems, developing effective countermeasures, and sustaining solutions Minimum Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or 2 years in operational role in an air cargo or logistics environment required. Proven ability to lead improvement projects from inception to completion with measurable results (project management experience a plus). Working knowledge of CI tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Visio) is a plus. Preferred Skills Strong analytical skills problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and metrics. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. Walk short distances. Reach above and/or below the shoulder. Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods. Lift/carry/move objects, files, and documents up to 25 pounds. Work in an office environment using standard office equipment. Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
