Contract Administrative Assistant Purpose: * Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Contract Administrative Assistant in San Diego, CA. * This role will require being in office 4-5 days a week. * This job will have a hybrid/remote schedule. Job Description: * Provide pre and post-award support for the Contracts team. * Manage and complete incoming contractual work items to include creation of documents, reports, correspondence and entry of such items into various tracking spreadsheets. * Interacting and proactively communicating with the Contracts team on a daily basis to help manage the workflow and daily activities. * Ensure all contract items and forms are completed timely and returned to the appropriate Contracts team member for further action. * Proactively manage and prioritize work within your queue to effectively execute on a daily basis. * Update and maintain Contracts Listing and POCs. * Maintain the Contracts team schedule in Outlook, ensuring that all contractual items with due dates are scheduled with reminders. * General understanding of revenue recognition guidelines and accounting principles. * Assume responsibility for the Contracts team’s electronic file organization and management. * Support or manage assigned short-term and long-term projects on an on-going basis. .Qualifications * Must have a BA/BS or minimum five years business experience. * Must have a general understanding of commercial and government contract management. * Must have a strong knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel skills. * Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must have an excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills; must be able to pay attention to detail. * Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. * Must have the ability to work independently and make timely and sound decisions.
