Alten Construction is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our construction operations with a strong focus on project startup, contracts, insurance coordination, and document control. This role is integral to ensuring subcontract agreements and associated documentation are efficiently and accurately managed from job handoff through project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of contract administration in construction
  • Experience using software and applications (our office uses Microsoft Office, MS TEAMS, Procore, Bluebeam/Adobe, Docusign)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills, able to collaborate across multiple departments.
    Pay: Commensurate with Experience
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Job Handoff & Project Startup Coordination
  • Collaborates with Estimating Department and Project Managers to facilitate startup.
  • Prepares and distributes startup document packages via Letters of Intent (LOIs),
  • Subcontracts
  • Drafts and prepares subcontractor and supplier contracts for approval.
  • Issues contracts via DocuSign and ensures timely execution.
  • Maintains subcontract and compliance document logs.
  • Insurance
  • Collects and verifies subcontractor insurance certificates.
  • Ensures ongoing insurance compliance upon each renewal.
  • PLA (Project Labor Agreement) / PSA (Project Stabilization Agreement)
  • Collects signed PLA agreements from subcontractors.
  • Coordinates with PLA Organizer to schedule and organize subcontractor markup meetings.
  • Maintains records of all PLA compliance activities.

    1. General

    • Reviews received documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and project requirements.
    • Organizes and stores all contract-related documents per company policy.
