Department Supply Chain Position Contract Administrator Location Karachi Qualification Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in contract administration or procurement support, preferably in the mining, construction, or energy sectors. Requirements Strong organizational and documentation skills. Good understanding of contract lifecycle processes. Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, EPC/D&C). Basic understanding of commercial, legal, and procurement principles. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing contractual documents. Basic negotiation and analytical capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SAP, Oracle, or Aconex is an advantage. Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contract documentation, including scopes of work, terms, and conditions. Maintain organized records of contracts and ensure timely renewals, amendments, and close-outs. Monitor contract compliance, track deliverables, and highlight discrepancies or deviations. Coordinate contract approvals, variations, and change orders in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA). Support project teams in interpreting contract clauses and resolving contractual issues. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders for documentation and clarification. Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on contract status, KPIs, and risks. Manage and file all contractual correspondence and maintain databases. Assist in evaluating contractor progress claims and payment certificates. Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
