Construction Coordinator Role
Based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb a dynamic and experienced Commercial Fit-out Builder whose rapid growth has resulted in a demand for a Construction Coordinator eager to join our and steadily growing Construction Team.

As an Construction Coordinator, you will be involved in the following:

  • Working in a team environment using our own software system (ProCore) in conjunction with other industry software eg Cubit and Estimate One.
  • Communicating with trades and suppliers are required per project.
  • Complete all Management requirements and must produce accurate documentation within budget timelines.
  • Cost management materials and trades throughout the construction process.
  • Attending meetings with Clients/Project Managers and Site staff while maintaining great relationships.
  • Identify potential risks/ issues at tender time.
  • Initial tender compilation analysis.
  • Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
  • Reporting to the Director

To be successful in this role, the following skills are needed:

  • Current experience in Building, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying studies, or similar. 3 years Minimum or Proven experience as a Project Manager.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Practical industry or trade experience is essential.
  • Understanding of Construction Documentation plans, specifications and finishes schedules. .
  • Knowledge of the tender process and trade procurement.
  • Take ownership and be open to feedback.
  • Proven Experience
